Yotel, one of the most popular budget hotels in the UK is set forth to burst upon the US budget travel scene through the unveiling of its first American based property in New York.
The budget travel hotel, Yotel Times Square Hotel is located at 42nd Street and 10th Avenue and is scheduled to open on the 1st of June this year.
The hotel is inspired by first class aircraft cabins and has 669 cabins. It will be one of the first budget hotels in New York City to offer affordable luxury in a compact room.
This budget travel hotel, similar to 'pod' hotels in Japan, has cabins which feature movable beds that can be folded up to save on space, while each room contains a 'techno-wall', combining a TV, music player and power plugs on one compact wall panel.
