A Different Kind of Travel Adventure
Filed in archive Travel Industry on April 14, 2007
If the kind of travel adventure you seek borders on the sick, raise your hands. I doubt that I'd be getting a lot of hands but, hey, nothing is going to stop me from featuring these strange adventures.
Are you ready?
First off... there's the Mexican Migrant Theme Park called Parque EcoAlberto (site in Spanish). It's the place to go if you want to experience how it is to cross the US border illegally. Not only do you have to avoid staff dressed as Immigration officials, you also have to hike long and run from sirens.
And then, you have the Dearly Departed, the Tragic History Tours. They can take you to the last gasp locations of famous celebrities. They can also help set it up so you can re-enact infamous liaisons by still-alive actors like Hugh Grant (with the prostitute) and George Michael (I think, it's that bathroom sex issue).
Or if you badly need a course in Anger Management but are not really willing to do it, you can just go to the notorious Kambol Shooting Range in Phnom Penh. You can take out all that negative energy by firing 30 rounds of an AK-47 or 20 rounds of an M16 for only $30. For the price of a cow (around $200, it has been said), you can shoot a cow. Or, you also have the option of firing a B-40 rocket propelled grenade launcher.
So... whose hands are raised?
