The Lithuanian capital of Vilnius will be hosting an "Art in unusual places" event on the 19 – 21 September 2008. Part of the fun will be to locate all the art and you can play urban detective trying to find all the hidden locations. There will be thirty three artist events to find with video installations projected on to buildings, operettas and dance performances. Local residents are being encouraged to take part by creating their own art in their gardens and the best efforts will be awarded prizes.

I think it sounds like a really interesting event. I can see that the organisers are trying to ditch the stuffy image of art by getting art out onto the streets and encouraging local participation.
