Nope, it isn't Japan or Korea. It is Thailand as Asia's new luxury travel destination.
That's according to Luxury Travel Company with the launch of its Thai website: www.LuxuryThailandTravel.com.
"We believe that the addition of Thailand to our current luxury holiday destinations was essential in order to keep the company at the forefront of the market" commented Tony Pham, Luxury Travel's Product Manager. He continued "This is part of our ongoing expansion which will ensure that the brand goes from strength to strength despite the difficult economic climate."
Thailand is a beautiful country (I've been there 9 years ago). I am not really surprised that it is now considered as a luxury travel destination.
What do you think?

I think Thailand worth the name. Travel industry and facilities in Thai are quite mature. It can provide luxury travel experience to visitors, especially the southern islands like Phuket.

Hasn’t Thailand always been considered a luxury destination? There are a whole range of luxury stay options. Perhaps the greatest transformation I have seen is the proliferation of small boutique properties that emphasize design and more modern amenities.
