Recent movies not withstanding, Kauai is not a scary place. On the contrary, it is a lush and beautiful garden, and visitors to Hawaii do well to included it in their plans.
USA Today points out the irony of the movie supposedly set on Kauai (A Perfect Getaway): it's filmed mostly in Puerto Rico.
Hawaii's official website on Kauai offers a considerable volume of insights into the island's attractions. While the nightlife of Honolulu may be attractive, Kauai is not a part of Hawaii I'd ignore on my next trip there.

Hi…nice blog and great article! The photo and description is awesome.I’ll really try to make Kauai my next destination.
Travel blogs like this interest me a lot. I’m also working for a site http://www.journeypacific.com
which is totally based on travel/honeymoon/vacation in New Zealand, Fiji, Australia…etc. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.
However, i was wondering if you could review my site in your blog too.I’m sure visitors to your blog would enjoy reading about Journey Pacific and plan their vacation accordingly.
Let me know what you think.
Regards
Anna.

LOL, that is what is funny about movies set in other countries, they are mostly not shot in the country where the action is supposed to be happening

I can’t choose which of the Hawaii islands is the most beautiful. I had been there once and i was so impressed by them, that i was felt tempted to live there forever. I wish i could do it, i wish i could just leave my life on the continent and start a new one in the islands. I know this is not going to happen though, so i promised myself to come back there and enjoy this wonderful place on every vacation i get.
