We've already picked-out 3 hotels where we can all stay. All three are located at the best part of the island, that is, the Station 1 area. Although hotels in this area are a tad more expensive than in Stations 2 and 3, I personally find it better since it's more peaceful (party-goers should either stay in 2 and 3, since the concentration of bars are in that area), the sand is finer (the sand in Stations 2 & 3 is also great), and there's less human traffic.
Here are the top 3 hotels that are in our short-list:
1. The Nami Private Villas. Luxurious amenities and perfect quiet spot. The rates are quite expensive compared to the other hotels, but then with such accommodations, it's worth every cent.
2. Boracay Tropics. Nice accommodations, superb facilities, located in Station 2 (not bad). What I find perfect in this hotel is the Dorm. Since we're 11 heads in total, this room would be more economical for us. I haven't seen any dorm facility better than this.
3. The White House. Proven and tested. That's where my family (especially my brother and his wife) normally stays when we're in Boracay. Nice and clean facilities, friendly personnel, reasonable rates and right in the middle of Station 1.
While everyone is freezing here in Europe, I'll be in Boracay having a massage and Pedicure at the beach. Oohh, I can hardly wait!
