Choosing Hotels in New York City
Your hotel is your home away from home. It's always best to do a bit of research before you select the place where you will be sleeping and resting during your vacation. Especially if you go to a place like New York City, where hotels are located all over.

Searching for the right hotel depends a lot on what your preference is. What is important? Location? Price? Class?

Well, in New York, the kind of neighborhood can sometimes dictate which of your preferences will be satisfied. Say...

If it's your first visit and you'd want the complete New York experience, you have to stay Midtown.

If you want to stay somewhere convenient and safe, choose a hotel located in Central Park South, Midtown South, Midtown East, Midtown West or Times Square.

If cost is your concern, moderately price hotels are located in the area between Penn Station and Grand Central Station.

If you want to hang out in the evening, stay at the Upper West Side.

If you'd rather stay close to where the most popular tourist attractions are, stay at the Upper East Side.

If you've been to New York a lot and are comfortable with going around, you can stay in Lower Manhattan. This neighborhood would bring you close to popular music bars and trendy restaurants.

Hmmmm... where oh where would you stay?

TIP: The above information could also be useful when booking via Priceline.
