Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, hosts the Copenhagen Fashion Weekend between 6 - 10 August 2008. The event runs in tandem the trade only biannual Fashion Week. So if you're a fashionista you know where to head as the Fashion Weekend is being billed as an "open party for fashion lovers". Many famous stores and boutiques will be involved putting on fashion shows. make up demonstrations and you can take part in competitions to win show and party tickets.

Danish designers such as Anja Vang at Galliano and Rikke Ruhwald at Lacroix have raised the profile of Copenhagen as a centre for fashion and Copenhagen is closing in on Paris, Milan and London in the fashion league. So you know where to head for some cool Scandinavian style this Summer.
