Galavanting
an online travel magazine for women launched in July 2008. Galavanting is aimed at female travellers who want more from their travels than shopping trips and pampering treatments who travel within a realistic budget. I read a couple of articles, one written by a two year resident of Stavanger in Norway and the other about attendance at a conference in Mozambique in Africa. I thought that both the articles were very well written.
The site also features a blog, a View from A Broad and it was brimming with great posts too, one about Salvador in Brazil and a snack bar in switzerland with fantastic views.
In my opinion Galavanting has a collection of great travel articles and in some ways they do themselves a disservice by being labeled as a magazine for women as a lot of their material would be of interest to males too.

I have read some good travel guides as well. I recently went to Prague where I stayed in a great hotel called the Castle Steps. An amazing city, I recommend a visit.
