Perhaps these stars do hang out at their own hotels. Or, maybe, other famous people also do frequent those hotels. We can only assume.
The fan in you can, however, try to act on what we can only assume. You can stay at [insert your favorite actor/actress-cum-hotelier]'s hotel and maybe, you can have a great vacation with some star-sightings on the side.
As far as I know, you may have luck finding these celebrities in their hotels:
Robert Redford in Sundance Resort, Utah
Michael Douglas in Ariel Sands, Bermuda
Clint Eastwood in Mission Ranch Resort, California
John Malkovich in the Big Sleep, UK
Francis Ford Coppola in the Blancaneaux Lodge or the Turtle Inn, both in belize.
Elizabeth Hurley in Eleven Cadogan Gardens, London
So... where will you be traveling soon and who would you want to gawk at?

Hmmm...I am building a guest house in Marrakesh. Maybe I should start showing up at film auditions, too;-)
