The 10th Annual Isle of Wight Walking Festival runs from 3 - 18 May 2008. The programme features more than 200 walks over the 500 miles of footpaths which criss cross the island.

The walks are graded from easy to strenuous. There are several themed walks such as "Love me love my dog" a walk for single dog owners on the 10 May. Also on 10 May there is a "Family Treasure Hunt". There is the 72 mile, "Non stop walk around the Island" covering the 72 mile coastline in 24 hours.
There's a prize draw on the site with a prize of a 2 day DB&B stay at the 4 star Lake Side Spa and Hotel.
It all sounds great fun. Are you thinking of attending the Walking Festival or have you taken part in previous years?
