La Tomatina in Valencia
Food fights usually occur in school cafeterias. Starting or joining a food fight would merit you detention as this reflects Reckless behavior.

As an adult, you might look back fondly at the food fights you took part in. Unfortunately, if you start one, you might get the adult version of detention... in jail!

Or... you can just head over to Buñol in Valencia, Spain and join in one of the biggest food fight in the world - the Tomatina.

Along with tens of thousands of other adults from all over the world, you can join in and help throw one hundred metric tons of over-ripe tomatoes. There are a few rules, though, which participants need to observe:

  • You need to squash the tomatoes before you throw it

  • You are not allowed to use bottles or any type of objects which could cause serious injury

  • You are not allowed to tear someone else's shirt (a rule oft broken, though)

  • You should take care when the trucks pass by

  • One water cannons are fired once again, the food fight is over

La Tomatina begins at 11am on the 29th of August, 2007.
