Leak Free Luggage
The smell of Bergamot wafted through the air as the luggage was opened. Mmmmm... But a second later, a loud expletive was uttered.

I thought that I had securely packed everything: all bottle tops screwed on tight, lids clasped closed, etc. But, I was wrong. There were days wherein everyone within a kilometer from me could smell that I was nearby.

Does that experience sound familiar?

To ensure leak-free baggage, some have advised travelers to take the cap off these plastic containers and squeeze until the liquid is almost at the rim. Then, tightly screw the cap.

Apparently, this would prevent the container from expanding during the flight which would cause the liquids to leak.

Another way (a nicer looking option) would be to use Pitotubes. These are high-tech airless, sealed tight refillable bottles which were designed by scientists.

A timely tip, imho, during these times when restrictions in hand carried luggages are going through changes.
