Learn Scuba Diving under the Eiffel, yup the tower
Filed in archive Destination: Europe by Melissa Petri on June 05, 2007

My parents arrived today. Apart from visiting their two grandchildren and attending my sister's wedding, they also plan to see the landmarks in Europe. First on the list is Paris, we plan to stay there from the 9th of June until the 11th.
I've been looking for things to do in Paris, when this article caught my attention. The idea is actually quite funny. Scuba diving plus Eiffel Tower just does not add up. If I were to tell my dive instructor in Manila, he'd actually think that I was having a funny dream.
The site is actually a 15 x 15 above-ground pool, 1.20 meters deep and studded with waterproof photos of fluorescent fish "to add a touch of realism".
For this 10 day long event that ends on Sunday, June 10, organizers are expecting 3,000 people to dip in the pool.
Might as well join the fun and hope for a nice weather or you might not be lucky enough to see those fluorescent fish :D
