The Conde Nast Traveller website has recently added a few items to it's Business Planner feature, a repository of tips for those traveling on the company Amex. This includes a special To Do list – sorry, suggestion list – for working mothers, because as Conde Nast is happy to remind us, "When a businesswoman prepares for travel her planning will generally have to include detailed lists on how her children will be fed, looked after, taken to school, bathed and put to bed."
Among the tips for traveling mothers are top ideas like "Cook some meals for the freezer: you'll feel good knowing they'll be well fed while you are away."

Personally, I'd feel good knowing that a) it was someone else's responsibility to dunk, deliver, bed and shovel food into the mouths of my offspring while I was away, and b) I'd been smart enough to partner with someone who could defrost a lasagna without detailed instructions on how to use a microwave.

Why is that word spelled ? Is there any mechanism that could influence a person in this way ?
