There are family events such as a Movie Tent and the chance for kids to try their hand at being reporter or camera person for Childrens BBC. There's music for all tastes with jazz, rock, a kids choir and tango displays. The Korean Moon Festival coincides with the Mayor's Thames Festival this year. The weekend will finish with a Night Carnival on Sunday 14 September from 18:00 – 21:30 followed by a a firework display.

It'll be a good opportunity for the new Mayor of London, Boris Johston, known as Bo-Jo, to strut his stuff.
