of Hotel Star Ratings. If there is a standard guideline or a common star giving body (sounds like an Emmy!) to monitor the star ratings, travelers can really rely on getting the kind of service and comfort that they need if they choose hotels with certain number of stars. It's a bummer to check in and pay for a 4-star hotel, only to find out after checking in that the hotel should have been rated 3 or, worse, 2 stars instead. No more PLUS. It's misleading to quote a price with a plus, especially when the plus amount makes the total price double. I hate it especially when you only realize how much plus really is after you have spent a considerable amount of time trying to book the "great deal". Transparency is what I want.
That all car rental firm will have child seats or navigation systems available, even if you only ask at the counter.
Since we cannot really rely on Rule 240 in the US, they should at least standardize the carrier's contract of carriage. We, travelers, should be protected if and when something goes wrong in ALL airlines.
I wish and pray to God that they will never EVER allow cellphones on board any airplane.
What about you? What is in your travel wish list?
