Periodicals for the Lost
Filed in archive Travel Industry on May 31, 2006
The extremely strange boffins at b3ta bring us Marooned Monthly, the new magazine for castaways:

This month's premier issue features Pineapples and Grass: Desert island Cuisine and Ugga Booga Ogga: Understanding the Natives, as well as the excellent Make Your Own Raft: First Pieces Inside!
Presumably the first issues of the latest publication to enter the travel porn market is a mere £1.95, while future issues will be putting a premium on those additional raft pieces.
No doubt current subscribers will be looking forward to My Man Friday: Good Help Is So Hard to Find, Dried Grass and Palm Leaves: Fabulous Summer Fashion and Coconuts and Tiki Torches: Boutique Decor for Beach Huts in next month's edition.
I am, by the way, willing to buy subscriptions for every single cast member of Lost if it will help them get off that island and off my television any faster. These days, it's mangled plot lines and not mangled airplanes that give tropical travel a bad name.
