Petrol heads will be making a beeline for Singapore in September 2008 as Singapore is to host it's first Formula One Grand Prix featuring the first night road race in Asia on 28 September 2008. Fans can race two laps in the life size Williams F1 Team simulator and three participants with the fastest times can see how they fare against Nico Rosberg on the simulator. The Singapore Motor Show kicks off on 26 September 2008 so fans can live and breathe cars.
Even if you're not a racing enthusiastic there are other events on around this time. The Singapore Beer Festival
on 2 October 2008. The annual River Festival runs from 19 – 28 September 2008 and has riverside concerts, parties, dancing displays and an exhibition about the history of Vietnam.
