Rugby World Cup Finals
Filed in archive Destination: UK + Ireland on October 18, 2007
If you are planning to travel to Paris for the Rugby World Cup Finals (how can you resist with England in the finals against South Africa!), good for you!
However, if you've made plans to travel by Eurostar on Thursday, you might want to consider checking out alternative transportation means as the Channel Tunnel high speed service has canceled three services from Paris to London Waterloo on Thursday because of the strike by French public sector workers.
To date, Eurostar has canceled the following services:
9003 06.22 Paris - London Waterloo
9049 17.43 Paris - London Waterloo
9012 09.09 London Waterloo - Paris
9040 16.12 London Waterloo - Paris.
Other services may be delayed. Some may even be canceled on short notice.
The French strikers really know what will hurts the most.
