This Autumn you could experience the beautiful, vibrant, natural displays as the leaves turn in the great outdoors of Pennsylvania in late September and early October.

Pennsylvania is an outdoor lovers paradise with forest covering more than 60% of the state. The Pennsylvania Wilds recreation area offers walking trails, bike paths and trout fishing streams. If you're lucky you could even spot some free roaming elks.

In the Pocono Mountains region you can take a four and a half hour scenic vintage rail trip to admire the Autumn colours along the Lackawaxen River. You can try the local speciality of hot apple cider.

If you'd like to practise your photography skills, there are one night, two day photographic tours through the Allegheny National Forest. Fall Fest takes place 27 - 28 September 2008.
