Originally commission in 1508 as the "Palazzo dei Tribunali" by Pope Julius II, unfortunately this grand ambition did not push through. It was only when Architect Lorenzo Bellini supervised the restoration of the building 500 years later, that this grand ambition turned into reality.
This oasis in the heart of Rome offers not just fabulous rooms with perfect views, but also offer the idle pastimes of the ancient Romans, gastronomic delights that is a fusion between Mediterranean tastes and ethnic revisitations, and a state-of-the-art Cigar Lounge where you can listen to music and access reading materials while you enjoy their handmade cigars.
Accommodations include 23 Superior Rooms, 35 De Luxe Rooms and Junior Suites complete with Air-conditioning, WLAN access, LCD Television, and a working desk.
St. George is located in the centre of Rome and is a stone's throw away from Palazzo Farnese, Piazza Campo
de Fiori, and the Piazza Navona.Permalink: St. George - Roma
