Alesund, full of Art Nouveau architecture, was recently voted the most beautiful city in Norway in a newspaper readers poll. You can fly to Alesund with SAS from London.
The Boat Festival takes place on July 11 2008 and you can be a viking for the day on 1 August 2008.
