Thanksgiving is a tradition observed by Americans and Canadians to give thanks. It is celebrated on the fourth of November in the US. It's actually an interesting tradition which you may be interested to witness.
Apart from taking part in one of the great American traditions, there is another reason to visit the US during this time… black friday!!!
Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving. It marks the official start of the holiday season (think deck the halls) and because of this, most retailers will be open very early and items will be discounted. And the ladies in the house all know what that means… shopping spree!
Why not head for New York for Thanksgiving? You can witness Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. And a day later, you can go shopping.
