New Zealand: 80 million sheep and four million people.
While that may be accurate, it leaves out the beauty and diversity of the island. I spent a Christmas (mid-summer for them) in New Zealand - seems like ages ago. We drove from Auckland to Napier and stayed with a Maori family. Christmas dinner was abalone that I watched the men dive for there in Hawke Bay...
New Zealand's lush landscape, snow capped mountains, geothermal springs, coastlines, volcanoes, and history make it a fascinating destination.
