Do you get that irresistible impulse to travel? Why do you travel? What do you seek to achieve whenever you go on the road? Do you always have the same reason for traveling?
Some people travel so that they could see all those sites which they have been seeing or hearing about. Others, on the other hand, travel for one particular reason.
Take, as an example, the Travelling Hungry Boy. He plans his itineraries around food rather than sightseeing spots. He loves food and says that he "will literally go the distance in search of it".
This interesting travel blog has pictures of food which the blogger has enjoyed during his travels. It's a very interesting look at different cultures through their food. None of those fancy restaurant reviews which, more often than not, do not really give you a real glimpse of a country's food culture.

I must say when I looked at the photos in the Hungry Boy blog, I felt my mouth begin to water! I don’t know if I would go as far as to plan my itinerary around food but I do agree that many fine dining restaurants are too stuffy and rather pretentious. I prefer to eat somewhere more relaxed and authentic.
