Tickets for the Beijing Olympics 2008
Filed in archive Destination: Asia & the Pacific by Melissa Petri on September 26, 2007

Unlike the first phase wherein tickets were given to lucky applicants and lottery winners, the second phase will be on a "First Come, First Served" basis. Those who are interested have three ways to book your ticket: book it online, contact the BOCOG Call Center (952008) or book through designated Bank of China outlets. You have 48 hours to make the payment, otherwise the computer will automatically cancel the order.
Unfortunately, the above booking process is only possible for residents of the Republic of China, Hong Kong, Macao and Chinese Taipei
. Non-residents are urged to contact their regional Olympic committee for inquiries on further ticketing information. The second phase will be from mid October 2007 until January 2008. Tickets will be delivered in May 2008.
Once you have successfully booked, paid and received confirmation for your ticket, I suggest that you immediately start looking for accommodation and flight options. After all, there will be millions of other travelers who will be doing the same.
For more tourist info on the host cities, check these: Beijing, Shenyang and Qinhuangdao.
