1. Learn how to share armrest space.
2. Rearranging overhead space
3. Go the bathroom before getting on the plane

6. If you can't lift it into the overhead bins, check it
7. Don't drink and fly
8. Space underneath the seat
9. Kids and flights

As for the overhead bin complaint… what about small women like me?! At 5'2", I always have to ask for help.
