Trivop
Trivop [BETA] is the very first online hotel video portal. It's a new website which aims to offer travelers the chance to "see" hotels rather than just pictures of hotels which just gives you an idea of how rooms or hotels look like from their best angles.

It should be a great tool to help travelers make the best choice when it comes to accommodations.

For now, Trivop has launched operations in Paris. They have plans to later expand and cover other European cities.

Videos featured on Trivop will be official hotel videos (from hoteliers who allowed Trivop to distribute them). In addition, user-generated content (private videos) will also be available. To date, they have 147 videos of hotels (from France and London) in their database.

Trivop is very user-friendly. And, apart from the videos, they have added a couple of nifty tools: link to tripadvisor for easier cross-referencing and a map which tells you exactly where the hotel is (perfect for those who wants to stay near a certain landmark but do not really know the name of the street or the district).

Methinks this site will soon be one of those great sites which everyone will be using. I just hope that the user-generated content will be reviewed before they go live.
