The Tuktuk Company of the Netherlands introduced the typical thai vehicle Tuktuk in Amsterdam in October 2006. Initially servicing the Amsterdam and Zandvoort area, it has now expanded its service in The Haag area.
The Tuktuk is a good alternative to buses, trams and trains. It costs €3.50 for one person, €5 for two persons and €6.50 for three persons. It can be flagged down in the streets of Amsterdam and The Haag, and along the beach boulevard to and from the Zandvoort train station.
It services the Amsterdam area between 2pm and 2am and the Zandvoort area between 11am and 11pm.
