UK Terror Alert and Your Travel Options
Filed in archive Air Travel on August 14, 2006
As reported by BBC, the UK terror threat level has been downgraded from "critical" to "severe". It means that a terrorist attack is "highly likely" but not "imminent".
Should the above improvement (okay, let's think positively here) convince you to fly out of UK, note that some restrictions still do remain. It would also be best to get to the airport way ahead of time as long lines and detailed security checks should be expected. In addition, some flights are still being cancelled so, it may be best to check your airline's website for the status before you leave for the airport.
For travelers who are in London and would rather not fly out today, you may want to while away your time by visiting some of these remarkable sites, as recommended by Laura Porter. At the end of your trip and your budget is tight? Ferne Arfin has great tips on how you can spend a cheap day out in London.
Now, if you're itching to go home but would rather not risk flying out from the UK or *knock on wood* if your flight is cancelled, you may want to consider taking the fast train to Paris and book another flight from there.
Weigh your options and decide on what you think would be best for you.

I think terror is in every country so that's why we can not leave travel from one country to other country. And it's not like that UK Terror Alert and our Travel Options would be change.. suppose any person want's to travel from UK to India then which flight should he prefer. I think UK flight is much better.
