I'm sure there are plenty of people who will disagree with me, but in my opinion London is not a particularly pet-friendly city. Most really big cities aren't. They're just too crowded and cramped. That doesn't mean that the entire United Kingdom is a problem for pets.

I don't think I can rank them and say that this place is the best spot for pets and that place is the second best, but a number of cities in the UK are very pet-friendly.

In my opinion, Bristol is one of England's most pet-friendly cities. The mild climate and surrounding countryside make it a great place to own a dog. Oxford is another nice place for pets. The historical city has some nice green spots for you to take your animals. I personally think that the greater Southampton area is also pretty nice for pets. The city is accommodating and the people like animals.

If you're outside of England in the UK, there are a few nice cities for pets. Dundee, Scotland is a nice spot for pets (particularly dogs). After all, it has its own breed of dogs named after it. Armagh is Northern Ireland has some nice green spaces for pets.

Wherever you go in the UK, you can look for Vet Depot Sentinel when your pets have needs.
