Virgin announces plan to launch business class-only flights
Filed in archive Air Travel by Melissa Petri on June 04, 2007

In the next 12 to 18 months, Virgin Atlantic will be starting it's business-only airline.
Virgin is set on staking a claim on the lucrative business-class-only flight services started by EOS, MAXjet and Silverjet. This move was propelled by the Open Skies pact between Europe and the US which will take effect on March 30, 2008.
The group plans to acquire 15 new planes worth $700M, will initially serve New York and other US cities, and is planning flights to New York from Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Milan and London.
