Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands

After seeing seven or eight inches of snow spread out over the week, my front yard looks nothing like a tropical beach. I'd rather be on a beach. And if I had a choice, it would probably be a beach in the Virgin Islands.

The southern side of Virgin Gorda is lined with scenic grottoes formed by the huge granite boulders that help form the shore. The beach is called The Baths, and it's about 2km from the Spanish Town.

If you're looking for a nice place to spend a few days this winter, I highly recommend the Virgin Islands. And Virgin Gorda is one of the best spots.

I would love to visit the British Virgin Islands. I lived on a beautiful island in Belize, Ambergris Caye for one year, which has sparked my interest in visiting and perhaps living on Caribbean islands.

The British Virgin Islands are indeed a superb Caribbean destination. The sailing capital of the Caribbean the islands offer a particularly breathtaking selection of beaches. The laid-back atmosphere is typified by the cows and goats competing for space with cars on the islands narrow lanes!
