It may not be Plaza Hotel's renovation sale (God, the deals on the flatwear were fabulous) but when hotels redecorate or close down, their unneeded furniture goes to Hotel Surplus, a hotel stock liquidation specialist.
Based in LA (where else?), Hotel Surplus consolidates everything from four star luxury to budget level inventory and then re-sells and re-ships furnishings worldwide. Current stock includes items from The Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel, The Beverly Hilton Hotel, and a few Hyatt Regency properties.
And, okay, more than its fair share of budget level dross; their walls overfloweth with 1980s TraveLodge variety "art" nobody but your granny would want:

Even if it is $10. The $399 armoires are a much better deal.
