A couple of weeks ago, we headed for the German Alps to search for snow. We stayed in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, a German ski resort which my family and I often visit in the winter. It was the first time I saw GAP not covered in white at the height of winter.

Of course, we took the bahn and headed up to the Zugspitze, the highest German peak. Sure, there was snow up there and there were boarders and skiers BUT the snow conditions isn't up to par.
