White Beach in Boracay Island
Boracay is a tropical island in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

White or Long Beach -- famous for its white powder sand (like Milk!) -- is the main beach in Boracay. The beach is over four kilometers long and is lined with resorts, hotels, restaurants and some quaint boutiques.

Whatever your budget and taste, there will definitely be a restaurant or a room to suit your needs.

Boracay spells F-U-N. Apart from swimming in its clear blue water or lounging under the sun while you sip a cold drink, you can also do tons more during your stay. Thrill seekers can go jetskiing, kite-boarding, scuba diving or snorkeling, among others. Forgot something? D'Mall and D'Talipapa will definitely have everything that you will need on the beach plus more.

And when the sun sets and you still have left over energy to spend, you need not twiddle your thumbs and stay inside your room. There are numerous bars and discos scattered all over White Beach. If you have a high alcohol tolerance and enjoy a few drinks, go to Cocomangas and take the "15 and still standing..." shot challenge.

Need some visuals to be convinced? Check out what everyone else who has been to Boracay Island have posted on Flickr.

Believe me, you'll love Boracay as much as I do.
