Win Three Nights at the Marriott Lisbon
Filed in archive Destination: Europe by Sabrina Dent on June 1, 2006
Win a three-night stay at the swanky Lisbon Marriott Hotel in the city centre in this contest at CNTraveller.

Room at the Marriott Lisbon
Amusingly, the contest intro page goes on and on about resorts and golf courses, but the prize for this content is a Friday, Saturday and Sunday night stay at the Marriott in the city centre, not at the outskirts Marriott golf resort. It also shows a load of stunning Marriott photographs, none of which are actually of the Marriott Lisbon (but trust me, its a very nice hotel.)

It also goes on and on and on about the beds. Believe me, I understand the importance of a good hotel bed with excellent construction, bounce factor and soundproofing. But I am sick to the back teeth of seeing these Marriott ads about their new Revive Bedding (these ads have been running forever and the beds are no longer new, or news.) It's comfortable: I get it. But at up to 295 euros a night, I think a comfortable mattress is the least we can expect.

The contest runs until the 30th of June and winners will be notified on the 3rd of July. The package does not include flights, but its a short and cheap hop to Lisbon from most Euro hubs. Room must be used before 31 December 2006.
